Dragon Fruit Farm

Maui Dragon Fruit Farm is one of those destinations that you may need to plan to visit for more than just one day or the entire day at the farm. There are so many things to do on this farm; enjoy a walking tour activity that is friendly for the whole family. The farm cultivates a variety of dragon fruit and other tropical fruits and plants. Depending on the time of the year, seasonal fruits will be available for sampling that may include mango, dragon fruit, guava, starfruit, sugar cane, and so much more.

Other activities on the farm include a zipline adventure and tour or an aquaball activity, it is a double walled inflatable aquaball. Be sure to bring a towel and extra clothes and plan to get wet. The activity is what you would associate with a hamster in a ball that sits in water. Children must be at least five years old to participate in the zipline and aquaball activities for safety reasons. If you want to make a day of the activities, they have combination packages available.

For those interested in just the ground tours, they have herbal tea tasting tours, a paradise butterfly tour and an alpaca tour. The herbal tea tasting tour is an hour-long tour that takes you through the history of the farm, the plants they grow there and what they use for tea for their flavor and sometimes medicinal benefits.

The butterfly tour is a living sanctuary along the slopes of the West Maui mountains. During the tour, you will have ample time to enjoy the views while you learn more about the sanctuary.

The children will enjoy the alpaca tour when visiting the farm. The tour includes petting the alpaca as well as learning more about them. If the kiddos are lucky, they may even have an opportunity to feed these alpacas.
