Water Fun on Maui

Atlantis Submarine Adventure – Maui:  Image climbing into a high-tech 48-person submarine that is battery powered and will descend 100 feet below the surface in the waters off the Maui coast, off the western coast. Atlantis offers an hour and forty-five to five minute tours that will take you to the beautiful world under water for a 45–50-minute adventure ride. You will not only learn about underwater life, but you will experience surrounding views of life underwater. The highlight is being able to see a ship called the Carthaginian, which is an artificial reef to help with the underwater marine life. Clear Kayaking Maui:  A locally owned and operated company that offers tours and rentals of clear bottom kayaks and gear. You will enjoy a beautiful two-hour long adventure exploring the ocean below with all its marine life activities while sitting and paddling in a clear bottom kayak.

The knowledgeable and friendly staff will help you launch your kayak into the water, teach you about kayaking and basic water safety skills. They will give you guidance on the Maui ocean area you will be exploring. They will also provide certified life jackets and give you waterproof fish identification cards to give you information on the types of wildlife swimming below. Once you are ready, you can set out on your own and paddle at your own pace.

Olukai Ho’olaule’a Festival for the ocean lover and athlete to experience Hawaiian culture at a community event. The event draws in the elite athletes in SUP and OC1 competitive racing, demos of the latest boards and equipment, meet and greet elite riders, and more. The event takes place in May at Kahana Beach Park.
