Attending a luau is one of the best ways to learn more about Hawaiian culture while enjoying a fun event. Hawaii’s rich history and culture is shared through songs, dances, stories, decorations, clothing and even some of their food preparations. You may even have an opportunity to participate in the festivities.

Old Lahaina Luau – had started under humble beginnings many years ago and has gone through many stages of growth throughout the years. Today, they hold numerous recognition and awards for their show and also for the food they serve. They are open seven days a week at 1251 Front Street, in Lāhainā, roughly seating 365 people.

Maui Nui Luau at Black Rock tells the story of the demigod, Maui, of whom the island gets its name. It is said he lifted the heavens allowing man to walk tall and slowed down the sun’s path as it crossed the sky. The Maui Nui luau is located at the Sheraton Maui at 2605 Ka’anapaliParkway.

Myths of Maui a luau dinner and show under the stars with a backdrop of Ka’anapaliBeach. Enjoy songs, dancing, and storytelling of Hawaiian and Polynesian cultures. Cocktails, soft drinks and a feast is included in the evening’s festivities with a fire dance finale. They are located at 2780 Kekaa Dr., in Lahaina.
